HOW TO CARE

This coat is easier to take care of than you thought. It is usually not necessary to take it to dry cleaners; however, most cleaners can remove visible dirt or stains. 

Most shearling coats are also water resistant and won’t be damaged if cared for properly. When it has gotten wet from rain or snow, it must be dried at room temperature, once they’re dry, water spots are simply brushed off. When the coat is not in use, it must be stored in a dry place, as mildew may pose a problem. They should be wrapped in tissue paper and stored in a cardboard box or a flat surface. Shearling coats are not damaged by moths or any type of insect.
